Women’s Gold Cross Charm – Rosaria
$34.95
Gold-plated 925 sterling silver cross dangle with ribbon-loop arms, alternating pink and clear pavé stones, a bezel-set pink heart center, for snake chain charm bracelets.
More designs:
- Gold plating over sterling silver gives a warm color without solid gold pricing, though the layer wears with time.
- A pink heart at the crossing catches the eye first, so the cross reads soft rather than stark.
- Looped, open arms keep the 0.96 in (2.44 cm) drop airy, although fine knitwear can slip inside them.
- On a silver bracelet it becomes the one warm piece, while on a gold chain it blends in.

Our Take
After a morning on the wrist the cross had swung round so the plain gold back faced out, and the heart window cut there is tidy enough that it never looked like the wrong side. Up close we kept going back to the looped arms, which curl open like ribbon. From arm’s length it reads as pink first and gold second. The bail rim rubs the bracelet on every turn, and that is where gold plate thins first.

Description
Blush Pink Stones on Gold Plate, and Where They Sit in a Stack
This women’s gold cross charm is 925 sterling silver under gold plating, shaped as a Latin cross whose arms bend back on themselves in open loops, like folded ribbon. A pink heart-shaped stone sits in a bezel setting where the arms meet. Along each arm, smaller round stones alternate pink and clear in a single line, and one more pink stone is set into the side of the ring bail. The drop measures 0.96 in (2.44 cm) from the top of the bail to the foot of the cross, and 0.55 in (1.40 cm) across the arms. The reverse is plain polished gold, with a heart-shaped window cut behind the center stone.
Color decides where it works. On a gold-tone snake chain bracelet, as in our photos, the cross melts into the chain and the stones carry the whole piece. On sterling silver it turns into the single warm point on the wrist, which suits someone who wants one gold accent without switching bracelets. Mixed stacks hold together when at least one other gold element sits nearby, a clip or a spacer, so the cross does not look like a stray. The pink is light, closer to blush than fuchsia, and it sits more easily beside clear stones or pearl beads than beside deep red or cobalt enamel.
Plating is the trade-off. Gold plating is a surface layer, and on a charm the high points meet the bracelet every time the wrist turns. The rim of the bail and the outer curves of the looped arms take that contact first, so those are the places where silver would eventually show through. How soon depends on daily habits, and we would not promise years of constant wear. Chlorine, perfume sprayed straight onto the wrist and silver dips all attack the finish, so keep the charm away from them. Anyone who wants a gold cross to wear in the shower and forget about needs solid gold, at a very different price.
The looped arms: less metal, one thing to watch
Each arm is a curled band rather than a solid bar, so the openwork uses less metal than a flat cross of the same 0.55 in width and lets light reach the stones from the sides. The open loops have one practical downside. Fine knit, lace and long hair can slip inside a loop and tug when the wrist moves. It is a small risk. Wear the charm on the arm away from mesh-knit sleeves, and give the loops a look after the first week of wear.
FAQ
Is this solid gold?
No. It is 925 sterling silver with gold plating on the surface. The color is real gold, but only a thin layer of it, so treat it gently: no silver dips, no polishing compounds, and a soft dry cloth after wear.
Will a gold charm look out of place on my silver bracelet?
It depends on what else is on the bracelet. Alone among silver beads it stands out as a deliberate accent. Next to one other gold clip or spacer it looks planned rather than borrowed from another set.
The heart window on the back looks like it could trap dirt
Lotion and soap collect behind the heart stone through the window on the back, which slowly dulls it. Rinse in lukewarm water, work a soft toothbrush through the window, and dry the charm fully before it goes back on.
How visible is it from a distance?
At 0.96 in (2.44 cm) including the bail, it hangs just under an inch below the chain. The pink heart is what shows from a few feet away; the small pavé stones only register when the wrist is close.
