Jesus Cross Charm – Agnus
$24.95
925 sterling silver heart-shaped bead charm, engraved Good Shepherd and cross on the front, seven-word verse on the reverse, oxidized line detail, slides on a snake chain bracelet.
More designs:
- On a snake chain bracelet the bead slides freely, so it drifts toward the clasp unless a stopper holds it.
- At a desk the heart turns with your wrist, so the back verse shows as often as the scene.
- In church the lamb reads first from a few feet away, while the small cross only shows up close.
- As a gift it carries a written line about being found, which is more explicit than a plain cross bead.
- After a year of wear the darkened engraving lightens where the cloth reaches, softening the drawing without erasing it.

Our Take
From arm’s length the lamb’s face is the only thing that reads; the cross and the shepherd’s beard need the wrist raised to the eye. It sits lighter than its size suggests, and within an hour on a snake chain it had rolled toward the text side, so the verse shows as often as the scene. The blackened lines hold the drawing together and will lighten with every polishing cloth. It sits well beside plain silver spacers and gets lost next to pavĂ©.

Description
The Good Shepherd on the Front, Seven Words on the Back
The scene on this Jesus cross charm is a picture rather than a symbol. Jesus holds a lamb against his cheek, eyes closed, and a small Latin cross sits in the upper left of the heart above the lamb’s back. All of it is cut into a polished 925 sterling silver heart bead measuring 0.41 in (1.03 cm) tall and 0.46 in (1.16 cm) wide, with the recessed lines darkened so the drawing stays legible against bright metal. Turn it over and the second face carries a short line in capitals: you did not find Jesus, He found you. The bead has no front by design.
That second face is where the piece stops being neutral. A plain cross bead can pass as jewelry first and faith second; this one names the person and makes a claim in plain English, which is why some buyers want it and why it is the wrong pick for anyone who prefers a quieter reference. The lamb is the other decision point. At 0.41 in the heart is a normal bead size, so the animal’s face reads from a few feet away while the beard and the cross only resolve when the wrist comes up to the eye. The cross is the smallest element on the charm.
Which side faces out, and why it rotates
- The 0.18 in (0.45 cm) hole diameter is sized for standard snake chain charm bracelets, and the bead turns freely on them.
- Without a clip or stopper on either side it also slides along the chain and collects near the clasp by evening.
- Seated between two spacers or clips it stays put, but it still spins, so the verse faces out about half the time.
- On a bangle, where the bead cannot travel, the scene stays wherever you last turned it.
The darkened engraving is an oxidized finish laid into the recesses, not paint, and it behaves like one. Skin, water and time barely touch it because it sits below the surface, but a polishing cloth or a silver dip works on the whole bead and will slowly lighten the lines. After a year of regular wear the drawing softens rather than disappears. Wipe it with a dry cloth and leave the recesses alone. Pair it with plain sterling silver spacers or another engraved bead; next to pavé it loses.
FAQ
Will it fit my current bracelet?
Yes, if the bracelet is a standard snake chain. The hole is 0.18 in (0.45 cm), so it also clears most 3 mm bangles and cable bracelets. It will not thread on, so it needs the clasp opened and a stopper if you want it to stay in one position.
The verse side keeps showing instead of the picture
There is no fixed front. The bead spins on a round chain, so over a day the verse and the scene each show about half the time. If you want one side to stay out, place it on a bangle or pin it between two clips and turn it by hand.
Does the black in the engraving wash out?
No. The dark lines are an oxidized finish sitting in the recesses, so daily wear barely reaches them. A silver dip or an aggressive polishing cloth will, and both lighten the drawing over months. Warm water and a dry cloth are all this piece needs.
Is this better on a bracelet than on a necklace?
It depends on the chain. The 0.18 in hole is wide, so on a cable or box chain under 2 mm the bead hangs loose and rattles. On a 3 mm snake chain necklace it rides well, and the heart stays upright because the hole runs side to side.
